You Press You Press is a social enterprise based in London working with young artists to bring attention to voices not often heard in the public sphere.

You Press is a social enterprise that supports young writers, musicians and poets to promote their opinions and poetry to the local, national and international press. We believe in the power of words and stories to change lives for the better. Projects have included working with homeless people, 'Voices of Redemption' (with young ex-offenders) and 'I Remember Srebrenica' (a response to the Bosnian genocide of 1995).

We wanted to share some of our community-led programmes from over the years. From The Collective and Aspire to Functional Learning and ScribersHive: Royal Docks, each programme has offered something different, but they all have one thing in common: putting young people at the centre of creativity and opportunity.

It’s been such a beautiful experience for our team and the wider community. creating spaces to learn, connect, express, collaborate and grow. We’re grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey.

As September starts, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what YOU PRESS is about.

We facilitate creative and personal development programmes that give people the opportunity to learn, create and build confidence.

Our workshops have covered music, photography, film, creative writing, graphic design, leadership, networking, communication and professional development. helping people build practical skills while expressing themselves creatively.

Looking ahead, we aim to expand our programmes, reach more people and create more opportunities within our community. We want to continue sharing skills, creating spaces for creativity and connection, and developing programmes that respond to the needs of the people we work with.

Our goal is simple: create opportunities, give back and help our community grow.
