The biggest lies out there are “be independent, be

self sufficient, you’ll be fine, you don’t need

anyone, you can do this alone!” When people are

all alone they become depressed, feel unworthy,

they get in their heads too much with negative self

chatter…. We need connection, a support system,

a tribe, some type of family/friends. That doesn’t

mean you can’t do things on your own and be

confident for doing so, it doesn’t mean you can’t

do anything without help- but we were crested to

have a tribe if some type. It takes at LEAST 5-6

people to surround yourself to encourage and

listen and create the emotional needs we all have

in this world. Make a tribe for yourself, you

deserve it and you need it!

Day 10:
High 5 habit:
As I gave myself a high five this morning I decided to give myself credit for the hardest area I have overcome and continue to work on. It has been treating myself like I treat others- with kindness, care and respect, like I matter. Where I work hard to no longer do things for others at an expense of myself.

Toda I am proud of getting my work done this week even though it was challenging for me to sit long enough to do it! No longer using the excuse of “I’m a procrastinator”.

I don’t identify as that anymore!

Even when I might wait longer than necessary sometimes, I plan as much of my week as possible and I’m also flexible enough when I need to shift and change when things come up.
It’s just me showing up in a full week doing all the things.

Be careful how you “LABEL” yourself or you’ll believe that label!
Also be highly aware of when other people “label” you and you CHOOSE to believe them!

Not anymore. You GET TO DECIDE.

Choose who you want to identify as. 💥 💥

It is so empowering!!!

Day 3: High 5 Habit

Do the work; hug five yourselves in your mirror Every morning until you can feel good about yourself.
How is this making you feel? Who is noticing your feelings about yourself? If you’ve done this a few days now is it shifting?

I know I won’t get answers here.

I know that people lurk and watch but don’t want to be seen online or in my feed. Take the photo for yourself anyways! I ask these questions anyways because I know people are doing the thing and reading my words… because they tell me so!!!

I want you to have this memory as a day you began to do something uncomfortable because you wanted change. A day to remember when you look at photos in five years and you recall not believing in yourself but n then you do.

So, today I’m showing up early for myself just like I had planned. I was up and dressed before I remit snap my photo today because I was excited to sit down and get to work on my coaching bus. All dressed and ready to learn in a program I’m doing by 6:45.
I am proud of myself for showing up - every early.

How do you feel? Go take your photo if you haven’t yet! Feel the vibe of I’m doing it. It’s ok to feel awkward but be proud anyways!

Has anyone here ever read the book

“High 5 Habit” by Mel Robbins?

I’ve been reading it for a book club and now doing the actual High 5 challenge recommended. As silly as it may seem (& for the record I thought it was too when I heard about it several years back)….; there’s science to prove that by high diving yourself you will gain confidence create a support system for yourself and be able to give yourself a break for the pressure you put on yourself. The day to give yourself CREDIT for how far you have come on your journey! All the work you’ve put in, all the obstacles you’ve overcome no matter how big or small!
You deserve it!

How many tribes have you beat yourself up for making the wrong choices? For not knowing what the next step is? For needing to ask for help? Hey friends- we’ve all been there!

Give yourself grace.
Give yourself time.
Time to sit quietly and reflect on where it is you want to go in life.
Time for the wondering. 🤔
No pressures, no expectations, no comparing to everyone else.

It is then you can map out your success path!
Brainstorm it, journal it, when it feels right THAT is when you take aligned action and make your moves!
After a moment of reflection what is your heart calling you to do this week?

How is it you want to grow as a person?
We’re not meant to have it all figured out by the time we’re graduatihigh school… I can remember saying at 40 I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up!
To be honest I was already doing it- I wanted to be a mother. I had my all four of my kids by age 27. But then I knew I wanted to do more. We’re meant to evolve and change over time. Now at 51 I’m here serving and loving on others.
