Initially, I got hired to audit the original Datamark website and identify areas of improvement. I worked with various departments, like marketing, IT, security, compliance, and accounting, to resolve issues holding Datamark back from welcoming an influx of website traffic to their site.
After building trust and advising Datamark for 7 months, I proposed a way to overhaul the entire website to modernize it while enabling their internal marketing team to manage updates on their own, maximizing their productivity and ability to publish a steady stream of new content.
They awarded me the opportunity to overhaul the website, and we continue to work together to improve their online presence and generate leads online. To start, I set up a temporary domain on their hosting platform, WP Engine Then I built a new Wordpress website working on the design and content with the marketing department. I set them up with a solid foundation in on-page SEO using the SEO plugin, Yoast, and installed the focus keywords and meta information, modifying all content to target the specified keyword phrases to help each page rank for their tangential keywords. This way, Datamark, Inc., can reach customers searching for various industry-related keywords in addition to when people search “Datamark”.
