Yesterday on Easter Sunday, human remains were found by children during an Easter egg hunt in Long Beaches DeForest Park.

Police have not released much information about the investigation but according to reports from the Los Angeles Times and other media outlets, a possible small skull was found as people were searching for eggs in the park.

Many unanswered remain, including if the possible remains are that of a child and how long they may have been in the park before being discovered. (via )

Instagram took this down as if violence isn’t spread across their platforms all day every day. So I made it soft for them but this is real news and the reality of what’s happening in our city. Last night, an e-bike (motorcycle) rider crashed into an SUV in Long Beach near Pacific Avenue near Pacific Coast Highway.

This comes just days off an incident on Main Street in Seal Beach where an elderly woman is fighting for her life after being struck by a teenager on an e-motorcycle.
