7:25 PM 12/8/25 | The Grays River near Rosburg, WA has officially risen into Major Flood Stage at 32.5 ft. Based on analysis of past flood events when the Grays River has gone into Major Flood Stage we can expect: major flooding of lowland areas and roads in the vicinity of Hwy 4 and Rosburg. Numerous road closures are likely, including Covered Bridge Road where the river gage is located, Satterlund Road upstream of the gage, and the following downstream of the gage: Altoona Piller Rock Road, including bridge approaches, Loop Road, and Barr Road. Some homes and buildings in low areas near the river are threatened with flooding above this level.

Remember, especially in the dark, impacts to flooded roads are hard to see. If you see a flooded road or path, "Turn around, don't drown".
