Took out the ice cream maker to make ice cream with my girls. Decided on cookies n cream. Made the base yesterday, custard-based. Today, we put it in the ice cream maker and added double stuff Oreos.

Today marks 21 years I’ve been with Anna. Dated for 5 years before proposing. In 2 months we’ll be celebrating 15 years married. It’s been an amazing journey. No regrets. Life is an adventure. Don’t be scared of painting outside the lines!

Happy birthday to my youngest daughter. 8 years old today. She’s been magic from day 1. Love her passion for doing what she wants to do. She loves to laugh and have fun. Loves to dance and sing, and even loves tacos! She was VERY specific on the cake she wanted. She wanted a lemon cake, with yellow drips on it. After work yesterday, I went to 3 markets to get the items needed so I could make it from scratch. I hope she loves it. These girls heal my soul.
