Today marks 20 years of an event in our most recent history that no single person wants to relive, yet must always remember.

I remember waking up early in the morning and after my mom was panicked and told me to turn on the news. I thought I was dreaming that I was watching a movie trailer, as in it did not register until some time later that it was indeed a real and devastating caastrophe that shocked our country.

To celebrate Labor Day 2021, this was my first attempt in learning how to smoke and reverse sear a tri tip.

With a labor of love and guidance from my mentor Katrina , I succeeded! My children actually ate it and enjoyed it. Proud dad moment. 👨
