What a night for Long Beach!

The Long Beach Chamber of Commerce celebrated its largest grant distribution ever, putting resources directly back into the hands of local businesses that help make our community vibrant, welcoming, and family-friendly.

Congratulations to all of tonight's recipients, and thank you to the Chamber, its sponsors, and supporters for investing in the businesses that help keep Long Beach strong.

This evening was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to support one another.

Mississippi State University congratulates more than 160 spring graduates recognized as Stephen D. Lee Scholars for achieving a cumulative 4.0 GPA during their college careers.

The following Long Beach, MS students attained this honor:

William Long, who studied Biomedical Engineering, earned the Bachelor of Science from MSU's Bagley College of Engineering.

Luke Salisbury, who studied Mechanical Engineering, earned the Bachelor of Science from MSU's Bagley College of Engineering.

Gabriel Sandoz, who studied Chemical Engineering, earned the Bachelor of Science from MSU's Bagley College of Engineering.

Alyssa Fayard, who studied Biochemistry, earned the Bachelor of Science from MSU's College of Agriculture & Life Sciences.
