The new Notre Dame High School Theater in Lawrenceville, NJ is a 1,200-seat auditorium with 30-foot ceilings — a challenging environment for HVAC design.
𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱:
• severe temperature stratification
• unwanted noise in a performance space

Working with Encon Mechanical, the team designed a solution using twelve Airius Q Series EC fans to quietly move air from ceiling to occupant level while maintaining uniform temperatures from the orchestra pit to the mezzanine.
