I love projects where night timelapses are on the shot list!!! It’s a type of fine art, composing each timelapse just right, using star apps to predict when and where certain constellations will be, how they’ll move across my frame or even how the rising moon might change the lighting on the foreground of a shot. Then you fire the first shot and pray that it all works out. A 10-20 second timelapse can take 4-10 hours to shoot depending on the desired result. So I’m always filled with anxious excitement when I slip out of my sleeping bag out into the dark, back to my camera to review the results. This one turned out great! This is a timelapse I shot down in Texas on while filming a hunting TV show for . I hope it makes it into the episode!

Another successful whitetail hunt filmed for . This was Bill Morris’ first Texas hill country hunt and will make for an incredible TV episode! It was filled with challenges, close calls, and two incredible harvests!

Capturing this wild whitetail adventure will go down in the books as epic on many fronts! Filming for this weekend at was absolute pleasure! True Texan hospitality, incredible buck management and finally getting it done on the last morning were just a few of the highlights from this adventure! I always love firsts and new opportunities! Filming a whitetail hunt for the TV show Tecomate Whitetail Nation this weekend. This will be my first time to Texas, first time filming a hunt and first shoot for a TV show. Should be a fun adventure!
