Friendly Heads Up From Your FAVORITE Finance Lady!! Big Credit Score Changes Coming in 2025!

Here’s what you need to know & how to get ahead of the game:

1. Medical Debt = GONE from Credit Reports
Starting 3/17/25, medical collections will be removed from credit reports. This could boost your score by an average of 20 points! But don’t forget: You still have to pay the bills—they just won’t hurt your credit anymore. ✅ Action: Check your credit report after 3/17 to confirm removal.

2. Credit Scoring Models Are Changing
By late 2025, lenders will start using bi-merge reports (only 2 bureaus instead of 3) & new scoring models.
This means your credit score might look different depending on the lender. ⚠️ Action: Monitor all 3 bureaus to stay on top of your score.

3. AI + Alternative Data = New Way to Score Credit
Lenders will now look at things like:

• Rent & utility payments 🏡
• Job history 💼
• Digital spending habits 📱
