East Texas Review Newspaper was established in April 1996 as a monthly publication with the central objective of creating a medium to better serve the disparate groups among East Texas major and minor actors in organizations as well communities within communities. It became a biweekly late 1997, and subsequently, a weekly publication in the middle of 1998. Over the years, the publication has kept

its verifiable tradition of integrity and professional journalism in dissemination of useful information to all categories of readers in the community. Moreover, East Texas Review has contributed to sustainable socio-economic continuum of the people of East Texas. Our Mission - Why We Exist

⚾️ Baseball fans, check out who we met! Jack Lazorko pitched five seasons in the Major Leagues with the Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers, and California Angels. He recently volunteered his time at the Texas Warriors ETX Celebrity Open Golf Fundraiser at Tempest Golf Club, benefiting the East Texas Warriors Softball Organization! ⛳️

Before his MLB days, Jack had a stellar collegiate career at Mississippi State University, earning a spot in the Mississippi State Athletics Hall of Fame. We’re grateful for legends like Jack who give back and inspire our community!

🏀 Basketball fans had an unforgettable experience at the recent Texas Warriors ETX Celebrity Open Golf Fundraiser at Tempest Golf Club, benefiting the Texas Warriors 12U National⛳️

NBA veteran Moochie Norris, a left-handed point guard, was there in person! Over his nine-season NBA career, Moochie played for five teams: the Vancouver Grizzlies, Seattle SuperSonics, Houston Rockets, New York Knicks, and New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support a great cause and meet a true NBA legend!

Kenneth Dwayne Gant, the electrifying safety who made waves with the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, weighed in at 195 lbs (88 kg), played an incredible 113 NFL games, and notched 45 interception return yards in his career. Best of all? He’s a 2-time champion with the Cowboys! 🏆🏆

We witnessed "The Shark" bringing his trademark energy to Tempest Golf Club at, the Texas Warriors ETX Celebrity Open Fundraiser to support Texas Warriors 12U National Softball Team.
