It Was Twenty Years Ago Today... Spring Hill Middle School principal Kelly Stansell carries a computer monitor into the school Tuesday, January 10, 2006, as Ray Mitchell of Southwestern Electric Power Company follows with a computer. SWEPCO donated 10 desktop and 11 laptop computers to the school, and plans to deliver more in several weeks, as part of a program the company has followed for about 10 years, of periodically donating used, upgraded computers to schools in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas. Stensell says the computers will be used in classrooms, most of which currently have one computer each, to provide students greater access. (Luisa Morenilla/News-Journal Photo)
