Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day or not; whether you are single, in a relationship, married, have lost a loved one, or miss someone, this message is for you (especially for anyone out there who feels lonely, or needs to feel loved today):
“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person, someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” -Romans 5:6-8(NIV)
I know these verses are quoted a lot, but please just pause, and take them in for a moment. Jesus actually loves you and me so much that even with all our flaws, He sacrificed His own life to save us from sin! No other love in this whole world can top that. God wants you to know how much He loves you, His child.
