Back in July, we were hired by Lewis Environmental of Pennsylvania and Delaware to document a training day for their fleet of boats with the drone. We were just going through some projects the other day and here are some screen grabs from our drone shots that we took during the safety video we shot for the John’s Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Lifeflight team. Such a fun shoot to get so much time up in helicopters and out on airboats. Definitely a favorite among the corporate-style videos we’ve produced!

We just had a great 16 days working with CFAN in Fungurume & Kipushi Congo! We were able to provide cameras, audio, drone and a producer to document events and create social media content to show supporters of the organization how the events are going. Has a great time last night documenting one of the “O’Keefe Brothers” sets at Fiddler’s Green in Winter Park Florida. Just a simple single camera documentation with an ambient shotgun mic on camera and ZOOM recorder attached to the audio board, but it worked out well. It just goes to illustrate that sometimes “simple” production is ok. We are in the “solution” business and we’re happy to give the client what they were looking for.

Coming from a small town of 300 people in the hill country of Arkansas, I sometimes look at how unlikely my life has been and I’m instantly grateful. In, what seems like, just few short years, I’ve run camera from helicopters in Brazil, perched on the front of airboats in the Florida swamp and even in a hollowed out canoe in Sierra Leone, just to name a few. I’ve visited over 50 countries and all 50 states. I’ve witnessed everything from global events, working with Presidents and royalty, to being held hostage for a few hours in Nigeria. This post doesn’t really serve any particular purpose, but to remind me, even in challenging times, to be thankful each and every day for the good days as well as the difficult ones. To feel blessed in all circumstances and to encourage others to also follow their dreams, because if a kid from the middle of nowhere with no formal training can do it, so can you!

A few years ago, we were honored to be contacted by the TD Jakes Ministries because he was visiting Orlando and needed a crew to help him record a standup. Well, we were more than happy to assist and sent 2 of our people as well as our teleprompter kit. Everything went very well and Bishop Jakes was kind enough to pose for a “crew photo.” This just goes to show that there’s never a dull moment in production!
