🚨 Traffic Collision Update 🚨

📍 Foresthill Rd at Drivers Flat Rd
🕛 Incident time around 11:37 AM

A solo vehicle traffic collision occurred on a sharp S-curve along Foresthill Rd near Drivers Flat Rd. The vehicle, a Toyota Tacoma, lost control, struck a tree, and went down an embankment approximately 20 to 30 feet. The truck was partially held up by a tree and visible from the roadway.

Emergency responders reported the party was initially trapped inside the vehicle. Placer County Fire, Placer County Sheriff’s Office, and CHP responded. One lane was blocked during the incident, and a wrecker was requested to recover the vehicle from the embankment.

CHP later reclassified the incident as a traffic collision with no reported injuries. Tow services responded and recovery operations were underway.

🚨 Traffic Collision – Christian Valley Rd / Gregg Way (Christian Valley) 🚨

A single-vehicle traffic collision was reported in Christian Valley after a vehicle went into a fence and power line, later confirmed into a power pole, blocking the roadway. Emergency crews responded and found an uncooperative party believed to be the driver. There was also a reported physical altercation involving the driver prior to CHP arrival. Deputies and fire personnel responded, and one party was detained as the situation was stabilized. ⚠️

Utility hazards are involved and PG&E was notified with an estimated 60-minute response time. California Highway Patrol and the Placer County Sheriff’s Office remain involved.

🚧 Please avoid the area if possible and expect delays while crews work to clear the scene and address power line issues. Updates will be shared as more information becomes available.

🚨 Traffic Alert: Major Collision on Grass Valley Hwy at Locksley Ln

CHP and fire crews are on scene of a multi-vehicle collision on Grass Valley Hwy (CA-49) at Locksley Ln. Reports indicate 3 to 4 vehicles involved, including a dark F-350 and a Toyota SUV, with another vehicle possibly smashed between two others.

One vehicle was reported smoking, and all southbound lanes have been shut down. Both directions experienced blockage during the response.

Tow rotations are being requested, and units are continuing to work to clear the roadway. Expect heavy delays through the Elders Corner area and avoid the corridor if possible.
