David Alan Hensley 60, of Elyria, peacefully returned Home on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, of natural causes. He was born on September 3, 1962 in Lorain. Dave spent his childhood days running and playing on East 37th street. He graduated from Wellington High School in 1980. Dave poured his soul

As a wide community, and as a family whole, we are heartbroken to announce that our founder, David Hensley, has left our physical plane this week. It was very sudden and unexpected.
He was a wonderful gift to a great many people... And he will be sorely missed for his passion, his humor, and his abundant love.
As this community (more than most) knows, he is in a better place and never truly gone, but the emptiness his presence leaves in this world is staggering.
Please take a moment to keep him and his friends and family in your thoughts this evening.
