Number 3 on the Fly list is the definition of a luxury, special occasion bottle.
The Calumet 18 year is exceptional bourbon. Not only is it one of the best presentations I’ve seen, it’s one of the best representations of well aged whiskey with a classic bourbon flavor profile. Creme Brûlée, Cherry, Vanilla, Brown Sugar, and All Spice are found in perfect balance. It’s rounded off with a well aged oak note than will bring all the dusty vibes and bottled at a perfect 118 proof.
I know this is one people love to hate based on price alone. I’m just here to validate how good this pour is so you can make the decision for yourself if it’s worth it or not. I also wonder, if this was a 1/4 of the price and hyped as it should be…what would people be “willing to pay”? 🤔🥃🪰
