🌟 Blessed Sunday Service at Sacramento 🌟
This past Sunday, we were truly blessed to gather in Sacramento at the residence of Koshy and Remani George. 🙏 A heartfelt thanks to the family for the warm welcome and gracious hospitality in hosting the service.

Jerin Achen’s sermon reminded us of three powerful points to reflect on in our walk with Christ:
1️⃣ Are we faithful to God?
2️⃣ Are we witnessing God?
3️⃣ Are we loving others sacrificially?
He also encouraged us to live with hope as we await the second coming of our Creator. ✝️

The fellowship that followed was filled with joy, laughter, and amazing food (with some delicious desserts too! 🍰). Truly, it was a blessed weekend for all of us who traveled from the Bay Area to be part of this service.

🎉🙏 Can’t believe it’s already been 2 amazing years of CSI Church of NorCal! What a celebration we had on Parish Day! 💒✨
We were so honored to have Father Sean deliver a powerful sermon and to have Father Steve Macias and Jerin Thomas George Achen also lead our service last Sunday. What a blessing to be led by both! 🙌
Our Sunday School kids stole the show with their beautiful Malayalam song “Nandi Nandi” 🎶—the whole church swayed along with them! ❤️
That’s not all… we also launched our Song Book 📖🎵 AND our Church Newsletter 📰👏 A double celebration indeed!

And of course… the highlight everyone was waiting for—our authentic Onam Sadhya 🍲🍌 lovingly prepared by our church family. Seeing everyone in their gorgeous traditional wear, serving and enjoying the feast together, was such a blessing. 🌸✨
🙌 What a weekend of worship, culture, food, and fellowship—it truly felt like family! 💕

🌺 Parish Day + Onam Sadhya! 🌺

This Sunday, we come together to celebrate Parish Day — a beautiful day of faith, fellowship, and joyful moments 🙌

And what’s a celebration without a feast? Stick around after for an awesome Onam Sadhya that’s sure to hit all the right notes — from banana leaf to belly full! 😋

Come dressed with love, laughter, and a big appetite. Let’s make memories, celebrate our parish family, and enjoy a sadhya you won’t forget!

🌞 What an awesome day at our Church Picnic!
We kicked off the morning with a delicious breakfast spread of dosa, sambar, chutney, donuts, and coffee ☕🍩. After fueling up, everyone enjoyed a refreshing hike together.
The fun didn’t stop there—games for all ages kept the energy going! From spoon & egg race 🥚, sack race, tug of war 💪, musical chairs 🎶, and so much more, laughter was everywhere.
Lunch was absolutely mouthwatering with juicy burgers, chicken, ribs, and plenty more 🍔🍗. We wrapped up the day with evening tea and crispy parippu vada, all while enjoying sweet fellowship and conversations. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who supported this second annual church picnic and to our amazing youth who coordinated all the fun. 🙌

Truly a day filled with joy, food, fun, and fellowship—blessed to share it together as a church family! 🙏

🎶 A Joyful and Blessed Choir Sunday! 🎶
What an eventful and spirit-filled Sunday we had at church! We celebrated Choir Sunday, and our amazing choir members led the service with heart and harmony. The highlight was the beautiful rendition of “Njan Paadidum” — a song that truly moved us all as we joined in and swayed to its melody.
Our very own choir member Suni delivered an inspiring sermon reflecting on how:
✨ Singing is biblical worship
✨ Singing shapes our faith
✨ Choir is a ministry of faith

We were also thrilled to welcome our new choir members: Eugene, Princy, Asher and Veena - our Choir is excited to have them as part of this ministry of praise!

That’s not all — Jerin Achen held the Vidyaramabam prayer for our students and teachers as they prepare to head back to school. A special time of blessing to start the academic year grounded in faith. 📚🙏

After service, we enjoyed a time of fellowship and great food, reconnecting with one another and sharing laughter and joy.

🎣 Men's Fellowship Fishing Trip – What a Catch! 🐟
It was an early start, but totally worth it! Our men's fellowship group had an amazing time out on the water — great weather, even better company, and plenty of fish for everyone to take home. From sea bass to halibut, we reeled in quite the haul!

Beyond the fishing, it was a time of laughter, bonding, and meaningful conversations. Days like this remind us how refreshing it is to connect with one another outside the usual routine.

What an awesome Sunday evening we had! We were blessed with a powerful sermon by Dr. Ninan that truly spoke to our hearts. 🙏

A big shoutout to our amazing choir for leading us in such beautiful worship — your voices lifted the whole sanctuary and brought us all closer in praise! 🎶

Our kids and youth brought so much energy and heart to our Back-to-School Drive, packing backpacks for high school students with love and care. ✨ It was such a joy to watch them in action, learning the importance of giving back to the community! 💖

We ended the evening with delicious snacks, warm fellowship, and lots of smiles. 😄 Grateful for this special time together as a church family. Wishing everyone a joyful and blessed week ahead!
