On Film Friday, we'd like to introduce "Banlieue 13 (2004)," aka "District 13" as its English title, for the people in France.

Written by the legendary French director, Luc Besson, starring the legendary stunt coordinator, Cyril Raffaelli, and the founder and leading pioneer of parkour, David Belle. Banlieue 13 is our founder's favorite action movie and it's not just because of the awesome and authentic moves in the film but also because the story tells how a corrupted government fails the people.

We don't want to get political but just want to remind the French government to do whatever is best for the people, as more than 1 million French people are protesting.

We are also in talks with David Belle's team to develop a movie for him. Please stay tuned and like and follow for any future updates!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We want to celebrate it by introducing "Brooklyn (2015)," a romantic Ireland-co-produced movie, for Film Friday!!

Starring Irish actress- Saoirse Ronan, the story follows a young Irish lady who starts her new life alone in New York and falls in love in Brooklyn. A beautiful Irish-immigrant romantic story for all the people who have Irish descent in the US and all over the world!!

Today's Friday happens to be one year since Russia's invasion. We'd like to highlight the Oscar-nominated "All Quiet on the Western Front."

An epic anti-war film based on the 1929 novel of the same name, starring Felix Kammerer, Albrecht Schuch, and Daniel Brühl, and directed by Edward Berger, it shows the cruelness of war and the fact that there's no winner in a war.

This semester we get to host an intern who is currently in Ukraine. We were encouraged and inspired by how much he tried to live normally and improve himself when he could lose his life unexpectedly anytime.

We urge and beg influential people and countries to end this ruthless nonsense ASAP and give the Ukrainians their life back.

Today's Film Friday we want to send our Today's Film Friday we especially want to send our deepest condolences to those who died in the horrible earthquake disaster in Turkey and Syria and those who lost their beloved ones.

Directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan and won the Palme d'Or and the FIPRESCI Prize at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. "Winter Sleep (2014)" follows a former actor and his wife and sister at a hotel he runs and how they face the upcoming winter and their breaking and broken marriage.

It is no doubt Turkey and Syria are facing a brutal winter with the earthquake disaster. Hope the suffering people can find their courage and get the help they need to overcome this challenging time.

Our group has received 100 awards, including Honorable Mentions, from film festivals all over the world!!

Although it's not like winning an Oscar, it is surely quite remarkable to a small, relatively-new company like us!

Hope there will be more good news this year, especially fingers crossed for our first international co-producing feature!!

Today's Film Friday, we'd like to continue introducing one of this year's Oscar nominees for international co-produced films- "The Banshees of Inisherin."

A black tragicomedy film directed, written, and co-produced by Martin McDonagh. The dark story follows two good friends in Ireland during the Irish Civil War who breaks up their friendship and become enemy-like opponents and sadly lose the precious lives around them.

Received 9 nominations for the Oscar Awards, this film is truly one of the greatest films in 2022. How many awards do you believe this film will win?

Today’s Film Friday hights Todd Field’s “Tár,” Starring Cate Blanchett, which premiered at the 79th Venice International Film Festival. At the 80th Golden Globe Awards in 2023, Blanchett won Best Actress in a Motion Picture– Drama.

The film follows the downfall of a fictional composer and conductor, who is considered one of the greatest living composer-conductors and the very first female director of a significant German orchestra in the international world of Western classical music,

Although the box office was not a success in North America, AFI has named it one of the top 10 films of 2022. It’s available on the major VOD platforms and absolutely worth watching!!!

Our first Film Friday this year would like to introduce the Oscar Nominated Irish film- “The Quiet Girl.”

Based on Foster, a short novel by Claire KeeganWritten, and directed by Colm Bairéad, the movie follows a 9-year-old girl who is sent to a distant relative and her husband, who she gets close to, by her own child-abusing mother. She eventually deeply bonds and feels “home” with this couple.

A touching story that explores love, family, and child abuse as Ireland’s submission to the 95th Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film. Best wishes!!

Our last Film Friday this year highlights Poland's Oscar 2023 submission, "EO."

Following a donkey sees modern Europe through an unwilling journey. Directed by Jerzy Skolimowski, "EO" is a powerful and touching story that shows the sad, crucial world human beings have forced animals to live in.

After a sorrowful month, we are back with good news. All of our projects have received more than 200 selections from film festivals all over the world within a year!!! Shorter than 3 months after receiving 100 selections.
This is truly terrific news as we are going through a significant loss. Thanks to our founder and all the staff and interns who contributed to our companies.
We will keep working hard to bring the world more great work, inspiration and fun.

Today is the darkest moment of our company with no doubt. Our founder's grandma, who raised him and made him who he is, just passed away...
She's a very traditional Taiwanese woman who devoted her entire life to her family just to make sure they could live happily with harmony ever after, regardless of how much she had to suffer.

Several of our developing projects are based on her life story and we will work harder to work on those projects and make her proud.

Don't underestimate the pandemic still and visit or video chat with your grandma while you still can!!

The Film Friday for the last week of this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month highlights an inspirational movie “McFarland, USA (2015)”.

Based on a true story that follows a new-in-town school coach and how he forms and leads a cross country team with 7 Latino students through the challenging life and practice to win a state championship.

The inequality of resource distribution has made many talented kids undiscovered. Even though the Hispanic or Latino Population was about 20% in the US, they’ve gotten resources much less than 20% of the country. Please like, follow, and join us to continue improving equality in the US and the whole world.

Today’s Film Friday of the Hispanic Heritage Month we highlight the animation film “Coco (2017)”, absolutely one of the best animated films of the past decade.

Follows a Mexican boy who wants to be a famous singer but accidentally starts a journey with the deaths, which makes him realize the importance of family and rebond with them.
