Sander Bastiaans aka Aquasoul is an up and coming Dutch music producer that mainly produces Trance, Progressive and occasionally House. His artist name hints at his deep connection with the sea. One of the main inspirations for his music is the sea and bright summer days. Something that can be heard in most of his music. For Sander, his music is not just a creative outlet, it’s a way of life. Through the years, his productions have been played on several radio shows and supported by DJ’s internationally and have been included in several major mix compilations and even reached the charts including the ‘Beatport Trance Top 100’ a couple of times. His ambitions led him to a strong reputation in the trance scene.

Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of?

"A big landmark for me was earlier this year when Helena Kristiansson and I could finally release our first collaboration with Tiff Lacey. Firstly, it’s one of those tracks where I feel we fully accomplished to combine music vibes from our past with present day in our sound design. Secondly, it was a major privilege to work with an artist we’d admired for many years.
But I also have to mention my track “Killing Me” with Trouser Enthusiasts for which Jox received a Grammy nomination."
