Did you know Punch can become especially active after the zoo closes? 🥹🐒

To keep a close eye on him during those evening hours, the zoo has assigned dedicated night-shift keepers to monitor the enclosure until midnight.

While visitors are gone and the zoo becomes quiet, the caretakers are still watching, observing, and making sure everything is okay. 🌙🤎

It’s another reminder that caring for an animal isn’t just a daytime job.

Caretakers continue to observe confident and increasingly independent behavior from Punch. 🥹❤️

He’s regularly seen playing, exploring, and interacting with the troop—and there’s also a sweet side to his relationship with the newer infants.

The little monkey who once needed so much care is now growing into a confident young macaque who seems comfortable taking on a bigger role around the younger ones. 🐒🤎

Every playful moment and every new social interaction is another little step in Punch’s journey toward independence.
