Look who’s back 👀 Our newly married besties return for an all-expenses-paid trip to the Caribbean, what could go wrong? Vacation Friends 2, starring John Cena and Lil Rel Howery premieres on this Friday!

The talented teams from our global offices created some amazing shots for this project. From invisible effects, like a casino set extension, to exploding planes, sinking cargo containers, and surfing CG doubles, the CG team at Ingenuity Studios created an extensive set of assets and environments for Vacation Friends 2: A challenging movie with dozens of action filled moments, just like Ron and Marcus like it!

We are so thrilled to have David Sewell join Ingenuity Studios as VFX Supervisor in the U.K.! Sewell will oversee client projects and support business development in the U.K.

With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, Sewell has worked on blockbusters including the Harry Potter franchise, World War Z, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, and James Bond 007 along with Chernobyl, and The Wheel of Time. He also supervised the VFX for Director Michael Mann’s upcoming film Ferrari which is set to launch later this year.

The Night Agent has landed on Netflix's weekly Top 10 chart with more than 168.71 million hours viewed! And within a week, Season 2 has been renewed and coming in 2024!

As the sole visual effects vendor, we delivered over 1,500 shots across all 10 episodes of on Showtime Networks. Animation World Network covers work from the project, ranging from matte painting, CG creatures, vampire enhancements, 2D and 3D set extensions, Digi-double, and cleanups.

The series is inspired by the acclaimed Swedish novel about a father and daughter, whose lives were changed forever 10 years earlier when the daughter was turned into a vampire. Seemingly frozen in time at the age of 12, the daughter, Eleanor, has lived a closed-in life, able to go out only at night, while her father does his best to provide her with the human blood she needs to stay alive. Shots include the animated fantastical Cat Lady, who plays a prominent role on the show, with realistic detail and personality. The Cat Lady is a figment of Jules’ imagination, but she sometimes pops out to interact with the human characters in the show.
