Bumblebees work tirelessly collecting nectar and pollen, but when they get exhausted, they sometimes fall asleep right on the flowers they visit. This behavior, although not widely known, is completely real. They’ve been seen resting with their tiny legs clinging to petals or even hugging the stem, with their antennae drooping and wings relaxed. 🌸

This rest can last from just a few minutes to the whole night, especially if the weather cools down or night falls before they can return to their nest. Some species even sleep in groups inside large flowers. 🌙

The Polish village where all 6000 residents live on the same street!🏡

Sułoszowa, a quiet 16th-century village in Southern Poland with a population of 6,000, became an internet sensation in 2020 when an aerial photo of its one-road layout went viral. The town’s narrow strips of farmland, stretching behind each house, drew attention. This design, known as a Waldhufendorf or “forest village,” was common in Central Europe during the Middle Ages when settlers cleared forests for farming. Each family originally received about 40 acres to farm on their own. Over time, these strips have been divided among generations but still produce crops such as wheat, oats, potatoes, cabbage, and strawberries.
