LeBron is the GOAT because you hold him to standards that others were not held to.

When Jordan got swept in the first round at 22, y’all claimed it was because he was too young. LeBron was taking bums to the finals at 22, yet he was criticized for losing to a HOF Spurs team.

When Jordan was washed up a depleted at age 40, y’all made excuses that he was old. LeBron is still putting up MVP numbers at 40 years old, with 7+ extra years of mileage compared to Jordan (Jordan quit 2x).

When Jordan couldn’t get over the hump and overcome Detroit in 1988, 1989, and 1990, y’all blamed Pippen because he was still young and developing. Yet, LeBron took a 23-year old Kyrie to the finals and won.

Jordan went to a non-contending Wizards team (that he built in the front office) and couldn’t make the playoffs in 2 seasons. LeBron went to a lottery Lakers team and turned them around immediately, winning a championship by year 2.

In 1995 y’all made excuses about Jordan being tired and not in shape. LeBron James has played the sport for 2 decades and has always shown up in shape, ready to play. He never took the sport for granted. He never cheated the game like MJ did.

These (as well as others) are things y’all give Jordan a pass for. Y’all make excuses for him but yall expect these things out of LeBron. Y’all praised Jordan for “still putting up numbers” at 40 yet they were career lows. But when LeBron does it, he’s “stat padding” and “needs to retire.”
