I need help with this area above our fireplace and TV. It is about 7ft tall on one side and 8ft on the other with a shelf that is about 1ft deep. This is some of my Christmas decor as some has been taken down but I never know what to do when it is not Christmas. Want something I can leave up on the shelf for 9-10 months out of the year when it’s not Christmas decor. The brick color is staying so don’t even comment on that. TV is perfect height for us, so that’s not moving.

Ok hear me out. I know the photo on the left doesn’t look like the one on th right (the inspiration picture). Which is why I’m posting. The wood pieces, which I have to use (long story) were placed too high and we ran out. Would you 1) leave it and just add the plants and decor as is, 2) move them down (but this would create more holes 3) go to the old rehab store 2 years later and see if we can find the same old wood to add to it. If you don’t like the project that’s ok but not one of the choices 😊

HELP…..I might need to keep the wooden stand my hubby made 😬…..what can I put on it or do here ? The vase and the angel were given to us for Christmas by our youngest. They aren’t usually there. Just placed them there for the time being. We used to have a large two story Ficus Tree there (that was why he made the stand) .

It can take months from beginning to end to figure out the right place for stuff. A couple months ago I posted the before and after pictures of my messy linen closet. I donated several bags of old towels to the animal shelter. Well since then I’ve been cleaning up the shelves in my bathroom; I’ve never really settled on what to store on them. Until today. We had an important family phone call and after I was feeling restless and decided to go wrestle with those shelves. Something told me to try different sizes of my remaining matching towels on them and before long I’d found a solution! The other side I decided to put my different apothecary jars and labeled them. Sorry I didn’t wait for the daylight to show you but I couldn’t wait that long…

I need help with my living room. I picked a very funky rug, which I'm in love with. But I need more color in here!! I don't want colored curtains.

But what should I add over the couch? And what kind of coffee table would look best in here?

All my furniture is an espresso color. I can't put the couches differently due to how small this space is. And we have a 100" tv to the right on the wall.

Please help!

I want to see how yall organize and decorate BUILDER GRADE closets.

Looking for inspiration!
I want to see closets that are working off of the builder grade shelves and not gutting the closets for custom wardrobes 😂

We’re planning on adding a second shelf and closet rod on that back wall some point this year. But I also want to figure out how to have a dresser in here added but make it look more “custom” without breaking the budget.

My initial plan was to do a Pax wardrobe system but we’d rather not spend $2000 to redo the closet. Especially since this isn’t our forever home, just our first.

I’m all about things looking custom/built in/ and pretty so show me all yalls closets!
