For as far back as I can remember,
my Nana, Miss Iris Fredrick encouraged every artistic venture my little heart desired. Some days I wanted to be a photographer, some days a talk show host, others a producer. Whatever the dream was that day, she played along. She was my camerawoman, my celebrity guest, my muse. She understood how rare it was for me to see someone in media who looked like me and encouraged me to force my way into those spaces. Miss Iris Productions is dedicated to the uplifting of stories and faces of the underrepresented. We hope to not only create these spaces but amplify existing ones. As you explore this page you’ll find upcoming castings, featured POC brands & businesses, and The Collective (a dedicated database spotlighting POC creatives all over the US). We welcome you to Miss Iris’ family and hope that through her legacy your story can be told too.
