Thank you for all of the advice.
I used some of it, but definitely stayed close to what I know. I bought a good 3" brush and a new 1" brush. I started with a coat on the wanescoating, touched up the chair rail, and then put a coat on the baseboards. I took a 4 hour break and did a second coat. It took less than a quart of paint all-in. I'll have to say, Sherwin Williams Advanced is really good s**t.

Make Doorways Cleaner. Help! I bought a flip home and didn’t notice how rough some of the doorway/door finishings are.

I’m not used to seeing the bare wood where the door bolt goes and it seems like they didnt sand it down properly. Some parts of the doors are also not sanded before being painted. What is the best way to fix and finish these blemishes properly? I’m a complete novice to renovations. Or would hiring a handyman be affordable enough (who would need to find the right paint to match?)? Thank you!

Dove off the deep end for first DIY project. Well the single bathroom in our first house was dated, kinda gross, and not very functional. Dove off the deep end before we moved in and gutted it to studs, reconfigured, and rebuild the while thing. Way harder that expected, particularly the tile! Oh my God so tedious but the payoff is pretty great. Probably going to get torn apart but overall really happy with it despite the imperfections I already know and likely more you all will point out.
