Thank you to Forbes for the mention of VME in supporting this amazing Amazon Studios film.

The new documentary film highlights a story of a veteran on the Hollywood circuit right now. The title is Wildcat and it follows Harry Turner, a young British man and former soldier, as he strives to overcome his depression and discover his purpose while caring for wildlife animals in the Amazon jungle.

Turner’s Wildcat first premiered at the Telluride Film Festival back in September and was screened with the Veterans in Media & Entertainment (VME) in Los Angeles this past October to a room filled with fellow service members, something Turner says made him very nervous.

“Our organization is focused on veterans who want careers in the business, the media and entertainment business,” Kraft continues. “When we see another veteran make a film, whether it’s about their personal journey or a fictional piece or a short, we’re excited. That’s what we want to see - veterans being seen, not as a stereotype but understand how diverse we are in our experiences.”

Harry Turner, a veteran and the focus of the highly-anticipated documentary film, discusses his journey to healing and his mission now to help others in need.

Veterans in Los Angeles who served -- some who served in Afghanistan and some not -- are asking you to help this cause.
Gofundme has vetted the donation process and sending funds directly to chartered flights. People in military knows what is going on.

We have Raven Advisory out of Fayetteville, NC, running the rescue. They are former Army SF.

Below is the appeal, led by Tommy Marcus, a young philanthropist who has 700K followers and leading the social media charge.

Please share far and wide.

Thank you for your support!!
________________________________________

We are coming to you in desperation to conduct an emergency flight rescue of 300+ Afghan souls. I have been working alongside humanitarian aid groups, decorated military veterans, and activists on the ground in Kabul, fighting to save people who otherwise have no chance at survival in the Taliban-occupied Kabul.

The individuals in question are high-value targets - men and women who have worked as human rights lawyers, champions of Women’s and LGBTQ rights, journalists, government liaisons, and interpreters - all of whom are at imminent risk of being executed by the Taliban, along with their families. We will be taking full family units.

If these people do not get rescued in the coming days, neither they nor their family will make it through the week. The Taliban have a KILL LIST and are going door to door, searching for these people and killing them on sight if found. Every one of these individuals on the manifest have been vetted.

Due to the rapidly deteriorating situation in Kabul, this rescue mission will only be possible if $550,000 is raised to fuel 2 airplanes to fly into Kabul from a foreign country, and there is a limited window of time to make this happen.

With help from people on the ground in Kabul, we have arranged for a safe onboarding process. All of the people who will be boarding the planes have been extensively vetted.

Every $1,500 raised represents a seat on one of the planes, and a life saved.

Please share wide and far, as hundreds of lives are at stake.

FUNDING

1. The money will be paid to and distributed from Raven Advisory, LLC, based in NC.
2. We need $550,000 to get both available planes & crew off the ground.
3. If we raise half of that amount, we can send one plane.
4. If we raise twice the amount ($1,100,000), we’ll do another run. 5. We will do as many run as we can.
5. If we only raise a small amount, we will donate the funds to vetted Refugee groups who will help the Afghans with clothes, burner phones, etc.

We are coming to you in desperation to conduct an emergency flight rescue of 3… Tommy Marcus needs your support for FLYAWAY: EMERGENCY AFGHAN RESCUE MISSION
