This week we are back in Malibu with something truly special, Kirk Halliday’s newest project, Simka.

This is not just another modern estate. It is built like a fortress with an all concrete foundation, walls, and even roof. Monolithic from the ground up. It is extreme, unapologetic, and designed to last for centuries.

At the same time it goes beyond brutalism, blending Japanese design and the principles of minimalism in a way that feels timeless.

In this episode we tour every corner of Simka and sit down with to hear the vision, the challenges, and most importantly the reason behind choosing concrete. All of this while surrounded by some of the most beautiful ocean views Malibu has to offer.

Traveling has become second nature. We’re always moving - exploring new places, meeting new people, touring new assets. Most trips start and end the same way. But Dubai? From the very beginning, it’s been different.

3.5 years ago we visited for the first time, and we knew right away there was something special. Seven trips later, that feeling hasn’t gone away.

Dubai has left such an impact on us that this time, we wanted to tell the story differently. So we dedicated an entire video to it, and made it the very first episode of our new channel, “Enes Up Next”.

For some, it might just be another city. For us, it’s a place we’ll always carry with us. That’s why this video is dedicated to Dubai and the people we’ve met along the way - as a celebration of its success and ongoing accomplishments.

We’ve been waiting 14 months for this moment… our very first documentary is finally live on YouTube.

Change is inevitable, but how you embrace it defines your path. Creating documentaries has always been a dream of ours, and we knew it would take the right story, the right project, and the right team to make it happen. This journey checked all the boxes!

A huge thank you to the incredible team, from everyone who sat through countless meetings to bring this idea to life, to the crew who welcomed us onboard and shared 11 unforgettable days with us as we traveled from Spain to New York on Arkas Sine A. Your support and commitment to this industry made this possible.

And to my own team who poured hundreds of hours into planning, editing, reviewing, and even putting together our very first premiere – I couldn’t be more grateful and proud of what we managed to pull off here!

It’s a new era for us.

This past Sunday, we premiered one of our most important projects yet - our containership documentary, over a year in the making.

Watching it on the big screen with friends, family, and fans was truly unforgettable.

A big thank you to the family for making this possible and for letting us celebrate their 20th anniversary in such a special way. Connecting with a company I was once sponsored by in my windsurfing days to this present moment makes this even more meaningful.

This moment marks a turning point - from launching our podcast, debuting our new channel in September, and finally unveiling a project we’ve been working on for over two years… our own candles.

The last page of the first book, and the first of the next. Just the beginning.
