My favorite food creator, whose videos taught me how to cut chives with extreme precision, use an irresponsible amount of salt because it tastes good, and appreciate the art of cooking a little more.

All of it came together at this amazing property (Encinal Canyon Rd. Malibu, CA ) in Malibu.

On a personal note, seeing Josh manage his businesses, work on new concepts and ideas, and bring the same precision he brings to his cooking to everything he does, while still being present and enjoying the process, was probably my favorite takeaway. You’re an inspiration!

Proximity to the ocean and access to the coastline is valued almost anywhere in the world. There’s something about the purity of the ocean, its constant movement, and the sense that it is continuously renewing itself that draws you closer to it.

If you live in Los Angeles long enough, you develop a particular appreciation for that feeling. Living in Malibu is undoubtedly a privilege, and this newly completed modern home brings the ocean into the experience of the house from nearly every angle.

Two primary bedrooms face the Pacific through floor-to-ceiling glass, while the nearly 60-foot great room is centered entirely around the ocean. From almost every corner of the home, the movement of the water becomes a visual element of the architecture, constantly changing throughout the day.

Big congratulations to The RMCI Group | Luxury Homes , Cole Mueller and Jeff Chertow on their newest project in Malibu.
