An unforgettable night in Malibu, where exceptional food met meaningful philanthropy. ✨

Malibu Food & W**e opened its second annual culinary weekend at Saddlerock Ranch with an intimate evening hosted by Academy Award winner Charlize Theron, benefiting the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project - CTAOP. Founded by Chef Marcel Vigneron and PR maven Lauren Rae Levy, the weekend brought together culinary talent, w**e, philanthropy, and community for a memorable celebration.

More than 150 guests gathered for cocktails, immersive culinary experiences, and a five-course farm-to-table dinner featuring Andrew Zimmern, Bryan Voltaggio, Michael Voltaggio, and Marcel Vigneron, paired with w**es from Marine Layer W**es.

From the sweeping Malibu landscape to live music, thoughtfully curated details, and conversations around food, w**e, and community, the evening set the tone for a weekend where celebration and giving back shared the same table.

Sandra Vergara has spent much of her life being introduced by what she does.

Actress. Television host. Journalist. Beauty expert. Real-estate professional. And most recently, a new face on Selling Sunset.

But ask Sandra who she is today, and the answer has much less to do with a résumé.

“I think authenticity is the distance between who you are internally and who you allow the world to see,” she tells GURUS. “I think that distance is getting smaller and smaller for me.”

Getting there took time.

Before this latest chapter came heartbreak, there was an emotional rock bottom. There were moments when Sandra had to question where she was looking for validation and learn how to protect the peace she had worked hard to find.

And somewhere along the way, her definition of success began to change.

“For me, it has been through constantly seeking God and not constantly seeking success.”

Most people only see the finished product.

They don't see the years of waiting, the setbacks, the uncertainty, or the people who keep believing when no one else does.

That's what makes The Trouble With Billy such a special story.

Nearly eight years in the making, the series wasn't built overnight. It was built by people who refused to give up—on the project, on each other, and on the belief that this story deserved to be told.
