Reports recently surfaced claiming sent a cease-and-desist letter to his ex-wife regarding their children—North (11), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5). However, his representative quickly dismissed the document as fake, calling it a "hoax."

On May 9, Kanye’s spokesperson told E! News, “TMZ didn’t verify the story before publishing it. They later questioned if it was a publicity stunt—but no, it wasn’t. They fell for a fake.”

TMZ has since updated its report, acknowledging the letter was fraudulent. E! News reached out for comment but has not received a response.

The alleged letter, obtained by TMZ, claimed Kim had violated their custody agreement by exploiting their children and restricting Kanye’s access to them. It specifically accused her of allowing North’s image to be shared on social media and allegedly blocking Kanye from seeing the kids despite their joint custody arrangement. The document also warned of legal action if changes weren’t made.

This false legal threat emerged weeks after Kanye expressed regret about having children with Kim during a March 30 interview on DJ Akademiks’ podcast. “I didn’t want kids with her after the first two months, but it wasn’t God’s plan,” he admitted.

The rapper—now married to Bianca Censori—also questioned whether he truly has equal custody, saying, *“If I don’t have at least 50-50 rights, how is it joint custody? My kids are celebrities, and I don’t have a say.”*
