I want to answer all your DMS, but l am so exhausted. I've slept maybe 4 hours since Friday. It took me way too many tries to get this message to post correctly.

My body feels like it's in shock and I'm waiting at glacial's pace for what happens next. Please check my main page or Uncle Paul page for what I've posted thus far.

My blood pressure has been elevated all day. 160/90 at one point. My O2 saturation dropped to 88 so they put me on oxygen. They can't understand why I'm in so much pain. Hopefully I'll see the surgeon tomorrow and get some answers. I've not 💩 in four days.

Updates: the pain has eased some. From a 9 to 7 without drugs. Still far from tolerable.
My intestines are doing nothing. Not a damn thing. I have a illus which they're watching. The surgeon likely won't be here today so I'm probably staying another night.

I wish I could respond to each of your messages, but it's simply too much.
I appreciate all the love you're sending.
This has been the most painful surgery I've ever had to do.
My pain is currently at a 8 AFTER Dilaudid.
Continued prayers appreciated.
I am still hospitalized.

So they removed the NPO restrictions again and we await to see if anything actually passes through my intestinal tract. Dr. says it's sleeping and I can discharge whenever I can expel liquid AND solid waste.

The pain is just too much for me.

I'm glad to say after the barium test, that my stomach and intestines were cut and reattached without any leaks.
That's the biggest risk with this surgery.
