I can’t believe what’s happening to our city.. it’s been such a heartbreaking, devastating and stressful past two weeks💔 The scale of the damage is truly unfathomable. My heart aches for the ones that have lost everything, or that is affected by this tragedy. My heart aches for our wildlife and for all the animals and the pets that weren’t able to be saved. I’m feeling sad and just emotionally drained, and I know so many of you relate to feeling this way. Getting the evacuation warnings on our phones was so incredibly stressful and something I will never forget. We are safe of course and I am so grateful for that. The fires are still going on, and there are still spots where the air is very smoky. I’m worried about the air quality, especially for my little ones. This weekend we drove south towards San Diego to hopefully escape the bad air so the kids could be outside. (We went to Legoland and they had the best time!) It’s hard keeping them inside every day cause they of course don’t understand why they can’t go outside and play. All these little things we take for granted and here we are. One thing I will take from this is that it’s been beautiful to see our city come together and uplift each other during these unimaginable times. There is still so much work to do. Families will continue to need support. Please consider looking to my highlights (LA Fires) to find ways to give back. Thank you for supporting our city🤍🙏🏼
