Looking back on a special night with the guys from Europe at The Final Countdown listening party in 1987.

That song had already taken over the airwaves and become one of the most recognizable riffs in rock. Getting to celebrate it with the band was a moment I’ll never forget.

On this day in 1990, WARRANT released Cherry Pie. The album hit the Billboard Top 10 and gave us the unforgettable title track, a song that became one of glam metal’s defining anthems.

It’s wild how fast and unpredictable the music industry can be. Just a year or so earlier, I was there celebrating with the band when 'Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich' went platinum. We were blown away by that milestone, and none of us could’ve guessed what would bring next.
