Filmmaker spotlight 🎬

Hey Woomies! Meet the talented creators behind “Unbraided,” “After Easter,” and “The Stranger,” three of the semi-finalist films in Screen Dat Night’s Short Film Competition.

We’re counting on the community to help us choose our FIVE finalists. You can WATCH all of the semi-finalist films on the Bassett House Pictures Patreon Page (link in bio). Then, LIKE and COMMENT on your favorite short for your vote to count! Voting ends October 13th.

🎬 This week’s Movie Night belongs to the community. Screen Dat Night is taking over.
We’ll come together to watch semifinalist short films with industry pro Steven Jackson, who will be critiquing, voting, and joining us in lifting up some of the best work from this year’s lineup.

But it’s not just on us, your voice matters too. Head to Bassett House Pictures’ Patreon to cast your vote and help decide which filmmakers make it to the finals for the $1,000 cash prize sponsored by First Entertainment Credit Union.

Hey Woomies! We have a SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

We’re back with Volume 5 of our Short Film Competition!!

Get ready for a special night where filmmakers and industry executives meet to talk all things filmmaking and collaboration! We will be screening FIVE films at the event, and one filmmaker will go home with $1,000!

Submissions are NOW OPEN on FilmFreeway!

The deal:

âś… Deadline to submit is Friday, September 12th. Shorts must have a runtime of 15 min or less to be eligible

âś… Semi-finalist films will be announced on Friday, September 19th and uploaded to the Bassett House Pictures Patreon page

⏳Woomies, friends and family can WATCH and VOTE for their favorite film until Monday, October 13th via the BHP Patreon page.

🗓️Finalists will be announced on October 17th

🎬 The TOP FIVE will be screened LIVE at ScreenDatNight on October 21st in Los Angeles! The grand prize winner will be announced at the event
