Here’s another thing nobody asked for but here’s why I (Joe) think this is worth sharing. First, I want to celebrate the fact that we’re doing something. We put a lot of time and effort into getting this series started, so having four episodes out over four weeks is a success, regardless of the numbers. Second, I want to be transparent in our practice. I see so much stuff on the internet that looks the same and talks about how you can do huge numbers if you follow however many simple steps and make your ‘content’ look the same as all the other stuff out there. I say you can do something else. Be proud of that. Love your work and stand on it. So our numbers are bad, our engagement is extremely low, it’s not what is working on the internet… but it’s ours, and it’s uniquely ours. No one does what we do and that’s what makes it special. That comes with frustration and maybe it’s harder to connect, but it’s an honest attempt at sharing ourselves for the sake of being an example of another way. I think that’s important.
