Introducing our cover star Bethany Antonia (Bethany Antonia) ✨

“Me and her sat together Googling how to be an actor. That’s genuinely how it started.”

From searching online with her mother for answers on how to become an actor; to starring as Baela Targaryen in House of the Dragon and making her West End debut in Hadestown, Bethany Antonia’s journey is a testament to belief, perseverance, and the power of trusting your own path.

In our latest cover story, Bethany reflects on family, finding confidence in an unconventional journey, protecting her peace, and the craft that continues to shape her as an artist.

Introducing our cover star Mattea Conforti () ✨

“It is okay to deviate from the norm. It is okay to feel differently and to be different.”

At just 19, Mattea Conforti is balancing life as a Harvard student with one of the most anticipated television releases of the year. As Becka in The Testaments, she steps into a role shaped by resilience, identity, and the complexities of growing up within a world designed to silence individuality.

In conversation with Jheanelle Feanny for Vingt Sept Magazine, Conforti reflects on the duality of academia and acting, the emotional weight of portraying Becka, and why questioning the world around us remains more important than ever.

Thoughtful, curious, and grounded, she speaks candidly about finding her voice, embracing difference, and the power of stories that challenge us to think beyond what we’ve been told.

Introducing Sarah Yarkin () ✨

“Protect your peace, and pursue the things that terrify you.”

On screen, Sarah Yarkin’s Rhonda in School Spirits is sharp, guarded, and almost immovable. Off screen, she is the opposite, animated, reflective, and disarmingly honest about fear, creativity, and the strange intimacy of being perceived.

In conversation, Yarkin speaks about the symbiotic relationship between actor and character, the pressure of early career perfectionism, and the vulnerability that comes with writing, music, and authorship. From panic attacks on set to learning to trust the work, her journey is less about certainty and more about curiosity.

Now based in Brooklyn after more than a decade in Los Angeles, she describes herself as a lifelong walker, once unknowingly known as “walking girl” in Los Feliz, finding freedom in cities where anonymity and movement create space to think, create, and exist beyond the industry noise.

In conversation with Philipp Raheem, for Vingt Sept Magazine.

Introducing Rainbow Wedell ( ) ✨

“I just want to be a light in people’s lives, in any capacity.”

After binge-watching School Spirits and getting instantly hooked from episode one, the conversation moves beyond the screen. Wedell speaks openly about protecting her heart, staying curious, and being drawn to real human stories, the kind shaped by emotion, contradiction, and growth.

As School Spirits enters its newly released third season, her performance continues to evolve alongside a life lived without rushing, without rigid plans, and with a softness she refuses to lose. Strong, reflective, and still figuring it out, Wedell remains grounded in curiosity rather than certainty.

In conversation with Philipp Raheem, for Vingt Sept Magazine.

Season three of School Spirits is out now.

Fresh from a playful, character-driven shoot, Fetscher sits down to talk about momentum, theatre as ritual, comedy as resistance, and the kind of work that stays with people long after it ends.

Despite the growing visibility of his career across stage and screen, he does not experience it as forward motion.

“I’d probably say it only makes sense when I look back,” he says. “I think I can be quite unpresent and chaotic in lots of areas of my life, but with my work, I am all in. I am very focused and very much in that world. It blocks out a lot of other stuff.”

They used to play to fifty people in a Brighton pub. Now they’re selling out arenas. And yes, they still argue about who makes the tea.

Twenty years on from Inside In/Inside Out, The Kooks are back with Never/Know, an album that channels the energy of their breakout era through the lens of two decades on the road. Luke Pritchard and Hugh Harris sound revitalised, their songwriting instinctive yet refined, nostalgic yet restless.
