Florida Cat Saves Baby From Alligator on Golf Course. The Johnson family of Lakewood couldn’t believe their eyes when a gator crawled up from the creek in front of their home, heading straight for their 10-month-old baby playing on the golf course grass.

Before Mark or Emily Johnson could react, their cat Whiskers bolted across the lawn, swatting at the gator until it slipped back into the water. The whole thing was caught on the hole camera. Neighbors now call Whiskers the “Guardian of the Greens.”
