The past year has been a difficult one when it came to producing content, especially the past 5 months. Having to pack all of this away to give my now 11 month old son his own room and space was very bitter sweet. Proud that he was ready to spend the nights in his own room but very sad that I had nowhere to produce content for the foreseeable future.

After trying various temporary solutions and formats, shooting several saber reviews, I just wasn’t “vibing” with the final product. Spending months adding little touches to our son’s room, we decided that the small space I used to produce content wasn’t going to be used any time soon.

So, with the help of you guys, we designed a backdrop filled with our favourite memories, lightsabers & collectibles from the past 4 years, something worthy of Absolute Sabers & the content I produce. While content will be nowhere near as frequent as I would like, having to work around my son’s schedule, I can now finally start producing some of the reviews that have been long overdue for several months, including a couple sabers I’ve had for over a year that I’m real excited to finally showcase.

There will be some news and updates on companies I am working in conjunction with very soon, some of those conversations still need to take place, but there will be huge changes to the content I produce starting this year.

Of course I want to bring back the livestreams we all love so much as well as giveaways and be more involved with my community as I used to be when I started out. It’s all just about timing.

Thank you to everyone for your continued love & support of Absolute Sabers, your kindness, understanding and patience has not gone unnoticed. Y’all the real ones ❤️

WHAT IF?
Anakins lightsaber had been damaged during the battle with Obi Wan, could it have ended up this way with an exposed Kyber crystal chamber? Would he have perhaps repainted it black and gold to look more menacing if Kenobi hadn’t recovered it from the ashen terrain of Mustafar?

Huge thank you to our friends for sending in their Jedi Nari inspired Forsaken lightsaber for review! A very unique looking hilt with a LED matrix that mimics the blade color and style, I really do wish we got to see more of this hilt in the Kenobi series!

As he once said about Sean Connery, “It’s his voice”,
A voice like no other, a presence unrivalled. You will be missed sir!

Words cannot express the level of gratitude, love and appreciation I have for this man. Literally the voice of my childhood, be it Mufasa or Darth Vader, his craft helped shape huge parts of my life. I remember hearing his iconic voice for the first time as Vader one afternoon watching Empire with my father, it terrified and captivated me at the same time, my all time favourite villain.

Thank you for the gift that was your voice.

I really enjoyed Sols character more and more as the show went on. His death at the hands of his former pupil was rather poetic yet tragic and fitting.
It’s a shame we won’t get to see what this saber was to become in the hands of Osha.
