So, we're sitting in a café, flirting. Suddenly, her expression changes.

Her: ""Josh, I have to tell you something. I...""
But she's interrupted by some guy who storms up to our table, shouting:
Stranger: ""PAMELA! HOME! NOW!""
Me: ""Don't you dare talk to her like that!""

"MY TWIN SONS STOPPED TALKING AFTER MY MIL SPENT THE WEEKEND WITH US – ONE NIGHT, I FINALLY HEARD THEM SPEAK.

This was only the second time my MIL had visited us to see the kids since their birth 10 years ago. The first time was right after they were born. They got along perfectly fine until she took them aside for a private talk. After that, they went completely silent. We tried everything—therapists, doctors—but nothing worked.

Then, last night, I heard faint voices and went to check. I wasn't hallucinating—OMG, they were TALKING to each other! I was ready to rush in and hug them when I overheard:

Jack: ""I can't stay silent anymore. This will kill Mom when she finds out.""

Will: “But you heard Grandma—Dad is handling it. And Vivian is waiting for us.""
