Today, Aputure officially launches the STORM Parallel Beam 70. The STORM Parallel Beam 70 is a 70cm diameter true Cassegrain mirror system optimized for the STORM XT52. The optical design delivers a 5° beam of intense coalesced light so that the beam can be used directly without distorted shadows. The STORM Parallel Beam 70 is optimized for peak efficiency at 10m and greater distances, perfect for shining through windows or bouncing off reflectors such as LightBridge CRLS panels.

Key Features include:

Introducing the Spotlight Mini for the STORM 80c. The Spotlight Mini is a compact ellipsoidal projector that transforms the STORM 80c into a precise light-shaping tool, capable of creating controlled beams. The Spotlight Mini features a rotating barrel, allowing for the granular orientation of both the integrated 4-leaf cutter and modifiers. The Spotlight Mini comes with a 19° or 36° lens with room in the soft case for both lenses. An adjustable iris is available as an optional accessory.

The first Baby BLAIR is here! Meet the Aputure STORM 400x, the newest member of the STORM family of point source lights. Like the STORM 1200x and STORM XT52, the STORM 400x features the BLAIR light engine, which delivers the best tunable white light quality and full +/- Green adjustment. BLAIR also makes the STORM 400x capable of outputting saturated colors, controllable in Limited HSIC+ and x,y modes.

The STORM 400x is also surprisingly bright, with output matching or exceeding many 500W and 600W point source lights, and it makes a compact pairing with the new CF7 Fresnel to further increase its intensity and throw.
