Craig Kief, ASC, took the STORM XT52 on a test drive for a sketch with H. Jon Benjamin for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Kief needed to bring fixtures that could compete with natural daylight both in and outdoors at John Wayne Airport while staying mobile.

The STORM XT52 proved itself as the main keylight of the day, both bounced into a ceiling indoors and out on the tarmac. “It was bright as sh*t, and I’m a color snob,” says Kief. “[LED lighting has made] real progress towards making professional fixtures pros want to use.”
