We are a multicultural, multiracial, beautiful family — and we stand with those protesting ICE and fighting against unjust immigration practices.

Being a mom in a family that spans cultures means our hearts beat in more than one language. It means we see our Hispanic son and know that his joy, his safety, and his future matter — not just to us, but to the world. We are raising our kids to love who they are and to love others fully, and that includes standing up when we see injustice.

ICE has torn too many families apart. That’s not “policy,” that’s pain. That’s trauma. That’s generations of healing stolen in seconds. We stand with every parent who’s ever been afraid they’ll be taken from their child — and with every child who’s ever had to grow up wondering why love wasn’t enough to protect their family.

We believe in laws that reflect compassion. In protests that echo our promise to do better.

This isn’t about politics — it’s about people. ✊🏽
