It offers an accessible and insightful mix of financial advising, business and career consulting, and constructive advice, whether you’re trying to harness an idea, generate income, negotiate with collaborators and galleries, or grow your practice.

We have just a few copies left of our bestseller John Cage: A Mycological Foray available on our website. The next reprint won’t be for a while, so get one whilst stocks last!

John Cage: A Mycological Foray draws readers across the idiosyncratic, mushroom-suffused, innermost landscape of celebrated American composer John Cage. Upon the remarkable journey with Cage, one encounters assorted photographs, compositions, and contemplations; all in the very same unexpected fashion one encounters various flora and fungi species while mushroom foraging. Volume I encompasses Cage’s mycological-oriented Indeterminacy stories, diary excerpts, and essays; and the complete transcript of Cage’s 1983 performance, MUSHROOMS et Variations. Volume II offers the inaugural reproduction of Cage’s 1972 portfolio, Mushroom Book; authored in collaboration with illustrator Lois Long and botanist Alexander H. Smith.

More Than The Eyes, one of Atelier Édition’s newest releases, was featured in the World of Interior’s May issue, in a review by Annabel Bai Jackson. Jackson writes of the author Ellen De Wachter that her “style is impeccably clean and con- summate – a text written more with the crispness of a palette cleanser than the sensory messiness of a feast”.

The magazine is available on newsstands now, and copies of the book, as well as a promotional poster featuring an artwork of Sarah Lucas from the book, are available from our website and via DAP

In More Than the Eyes, writer Ellen Mara De Wachter considers the ways in which food, when used as a material in contemporary art, confronts, subverts and ultimately brings us to our senses. Focusing on artists working between 1960 and 2000, the book shows how we have become restricted by a hierarchy that values sight and reason above other senses, and how encounters with food in art can help us break this bind. By putting food at the center of the highly visual art world, the artists in this book quicken a range of sensations beyond visual perception, helping us access and liberate aspects of our experience that have been ignored or suppressed.

We are so excited to announce an evening of drinks, books, and poetry with our friends at Tenderbooks, in celebration of Atelier Édition’s Faith in Arts series. The event will be held Tuesday, April 22nd, from 6pm - 8pm at Tenderbooks in London.

An ongoing series of chapbooks published in collaboration with the Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center, Faith in Arts combines newly commissioned images and texts with international archives and BMC’s art and literature collection. Our volumes thus far have explored John Cage, Robert Rauschenberg, Ruth Asawa, M. C. Richards, and many more, with the latest in the series featuring Benedictine monk, poet and graphic artist Dom Sylvester Houédard, in collaboration with Lisson Gallery.

Tenderbooks is the only UK bookstore stocking Faith in Arts in its entirety. Please join us to celebrate these wonderful volumes at Tenderbook’s beautiful central London shop. All welcome, no RSVP required.
