Ordered from tacobell and jasmine straight up did not drop off my order, just ran off with it, I had my lights on I tipped and all, I go to 'help' and click I can't find my order and nothing happens. CAN WE SERIOUSLY STOP DASHERS FROM JUST STEALING FOOD?????

How is this even legal?
Ordered got cancelled because store did not have item, ok no big deal, I figure initial pending charge will just drop off. Fast forward a week, the charge post and no refund issued. Spent over an hour in chat and this is the result. Jesus, I thought UberEATS was bad, somehow doordash manage to beat them in being an even s**ttier company.

Edit: To clarify, I did NOT cancel. The store cancelled.

Update: I called in and after being bounced around and escalating, someone finally did something. They still refused to refund back to card, but they issued a one time courtesy door dash credit for the amount that my card was charged. They however would not refund the 10 door dash dollar credit I originally used for this order lol.. so now I have a 11.10 credit I'll probably never use again.

I give up, will probably just call my bank and dispute it.

Dasher intentionally leaves ice cream outside when I’m disabled then mocks me
Like the title says, I ordered some ice cream to help beat the heat in my area and the dasher couldn’t figure out how to use a call box. Didn’t call me to ask how it worked, just left it outside. I cannot walk outside of my very small apartment so obviously the food is lost. They then proceeded to mock me for being physically unable to get my food. I reported them so hopefully I never see them again. Yes, before you ask, I did leave a tip. $10 for a 2 mile trip.

Edit: the messages are cropped because I sent the dasher a photo of my apartment door to make it easier for them and I didn’t want to doxx myself on here

Edit 2: I am not asking anyone to enter my home at all. Just to leave it on a chair right outside my apartment door so I don’t have to bend down.

Edit 3: stop DMing me threats and insults

Edit 4: YES, I left instructions both in the order and via message the second the dasher picked up my order. It also explains that I am disabled and physically unable to retrieve the order if it’s left anywhere else. If the dasher listened to my instructions, there would be no issue with getting my food. Common sense, people.

by the time i had sent the first text i had already been waiting an hour for my food. he kept sending me screenshots of my address so i was really confused with no explanation and a little creeped out. i’m usually a very generous tipper but people in my area are sketchy so i always add a larger tip after because ive had food eaten, messed with, and drinks spilled. i’ve had this dasher before and he pulled the same stunt. he continued to sit in the parking lot for another 30 minutes before dropping my order. i can understand his concern with gas prices because they definitely are unbelievable, but why take the order in the first place? you can see how much you are going to make before even accepting. tried getting in touch with support to see if they can do something about this guy because he’s done it before, but nothing. made sure to add a 20 dollar tip to the woman who delivered my food within 10 minutes after he dropped the order lol

I woke up with a migraine. I worked for six hours this morning (from home), putting me at a total of 66 hours for the week. My husband has torn apart our bathroom trying to fix the whirlpool bath tub, so I have been listening to the sound of hammering and a Shop Vac for three hours. I'm writing a strategic analysis for my next-to-last grad school class and my brain feels like scrambled eggs. My two-year-old has been screaming HAPPY MEAL since she woke up at 6:30 AM. My Great Dane got upset because I went to shower without him and decided to s**t in the middle of the living room in protest.
