👀 Have you seen this gel strip manicure you can do AT HOME bestie??? Even as a licensed cosmetologist it is so hard for me to paint my own nails and get them perfect (especially my right hand!!) but these ohora semi-cured gel strips made it so easy!!! They look like I just left the salon and they are snag proof and super glossy!! 💅

💸 I normally spend almost $100 at the salon but these are on sale right now on Amazon (some of them are $9.99!) and I really can’t stress enough HOW EASY this was!! I may try the glitter strips next time but definitely check out all the colors they have and MAKE SURE to grab the top coat it makes so much of a difference!! ✨

Like the fact that something that simple can show up at PARIS Fashion Week and still look so elevated and chic? (I’ve also been obsessing over Paris Hilton’s updo lately and trying to teach myself how to recreate it because we all need that in our lives right now especially before the holidays can you IMAGINE??? It’s just wild how one little accessory can do so much and now she’s literally having her moment all the way in Paris ✨

❇️ Sock curls the EASY way:

1️⃣ Start with hair that’s lightly damp NOT soaking wet. If your hair is too wet it won’t dry overnight and your curls will fall flat.

2️⃣ Use a mousse or foam with some hold. This helps your curls last longer and gives them that soft bouncy shape. (I like the color wow xl bombshell foam bc she’s not too heavy on fine hair!!!)

3️⃣ Wrap your hair tight with no spaces between the strands. The tighter the wrap the smoother the curl pattern will be BUT be mindful that this can cause breakage overtime if you do this everyday!

4️⃣ If you want your curls to start higher up wrap higher up on the sock instead of mid-length.

5️⃣ Let your hair dry completely before taking them out. This is the biggest secret for curls that actually hold.

6️⃣ When breaking them up go slow so you keep that perfect definition without creating frizz.

7️⃣ If your hair is frizzy add a little serum to your ends after unwrapping to lock in shine and prevent frizz.

✨Heatless curls can be a great way to get curls that LAST but thats only after a little practicing with your wrapping method and if this didn’t work: DONT GIVE UP BESTIE! There are so many different heatless curling methods and we just need to keep trying until we find the one that works for YOU! (Lemme know if you have a method you wanna see me try too!!! 👀)
