Based in Los Angeles, CA, Flourishing Films is a new boutique film sales outfit founded in January 2016. The company made its debut at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, the 2016 Berlin International Film Festival and European Film Market (EFM). Previously having worked in feature acquisitions at Paramount Pictures, the experience inspired its founder to begin a film sales and production business specifically to market and sell films made by Black and African filmmakers from the diaspora, to buyers around the world.
