Surah Al-Asr — Why Allah Swore by THIS Word for Time ⏳

07/26/2026

You call it Bhoot. Islam calls it something else entirely — and the difference isn't just the name. 🤍

BHOOT (a dead soul haunting, seeking revenge) — Islam is clear: this isn't real. "And behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected." — Surah Al-Mu'minun 23:100. Once a soul leaves, it does not come back.

JINN = a real creation, made of smokeless fire, mentioned throughout the Qur'an. "He sees you, he and his tribe, from where you cannot see them." — Surah Al-A'raf 7:27.

The shadow in the hallway, the cold feeling in an old house — it was never a ghost. It was something the Qur'an already told us about, fourteen centuries ago. 👇 Save this.

Not every sin carries the same weight. The Qur'an itself draws the line. 🤍

SAGHA'IR (minor sins) = smaller wrongs, erased by the five daily prayers and good deeds.
KABA'IR (major sins) = sins the Qur'an or Sunnah names directly, tied to Allah's wrath or a specific warning of Hellfire — the Prophet ﷺ named seven: shirk, magic, murder, devouring an orphan's wealth, riba, fleeing battle, and slandering chaste women.

"If you avoid the major sins you are forbidden, We will remove your minor sins, and admit you to a noble entrance." — Surah An-Nisa 4:31

Astaghfirullah — say it today
He ﷺ asked forgiveness over 70 times a day. What's stopping us?

Both mean the end of a marriage. But they don't belong to the same person — and most people don't know that. 🤍
TALAQ = the husband's right to end the marriage.
KHULA = the wife's right to request separation, usually returning her Mahr — addressed directly in Surah Al-Baqarah 2:229.
The Prophet ﷺ granted this to a woman who came to him saying she found no fault in her husband, but simply could not continue. He didn't question her worth. He granted her release.
If you're in a marriage that's hurting you — know that Islam already gave you a way out, with dignity. 🤍

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"Richness is not having many possessions. Rather, true richness is the richness of the soul."

One verse. Two words for love. Most people only feel one of them. 🤍
MAWADDAH = the spark at the beginning — attraction, excitement, the honeymoon phase.
RAHMAH = the mercy that carries a marriage forward when the passion quiets down.
"He placed between you love (Mawaddah) and mercy (Rahmah)." — Surah Ar-Rum 30:21
Al-Qurtubi explained it beautifully: Mawaddah for the years of youth, Rahmah for the years after.
When the spark quiets down in your marriage... does the mercy still show up? 👇 Save this.

Most Muslims think Shukr and Hamd mean the same thing—but they don't.

In this short Islamic animation, learn the authentic difference between Shukr (gratitude) and Hamd (praise), based on the Qur'an and the explanations of classical scholars.

You've heard both words your whole life. Do you actually know the difference? 🤍
NABI = a Prophet given revelation from Allah.
RASUL = a Messenger given a NEW revealed law, commanded to convey it to a whole nation.
Every Rasul is also a Nabi. But not every Nabi was sent as a Rasul.
Muhammad ﷺ was the final one of both — "the Seal of the Prophets" (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:40). No new law. No new Messenger. Just his message, for the rest of time. 👇 Save this.
