Thailand launched an attack on Cambodia first, and Cambodia responded with a skilled counterattack against the Thai military. Three of Thailand’s F-16 fighter jets were shot down by Cambodian forces, and Thailand suffered a major defeat. Three of Thailand’s key locations were destroyed. At this point, Thailand has requested negotiations with Cambodia, but Cambodia has refused. This is what the Thai military must face — a strong counterattack from Cambodia.

As a small country, Cambodia has always carried deep scars from our past. And now, we are once again being threatened. We are being invaded. And we do not deserve this. But even in the face of danger, I am proud. Proud of our soldiers. Proud of our people. While we sleep safely in our homes, our brave army is out there defending our borders — risking their lives so we can live ours. They are not just protecting land. They’re protecting our dignity, our future, our right to exist in peace.

To the Cambodian military: thank you. You are our shield. Our pride. Our heroes.

To Siam ចោសៀម: We are peaceful, but we are not to be messed with.

To everyone: this news is anxiety-inducing. It’s scary. Please stay informed and only trust real, verified sources. Now more than ever, we need to be a united front as Cambodians.
