Home Alone was one of those deeply special movies for me—it was something I watched sitting beside my mom and dad. It was one of the few times we did that together, before growing up quietly pulled us away from moments like those, without us ever realizing it.

Hearing about Catherine O’Hara’s passing really hurt. It brought back powerful memories of what a mother would do for her child, and it reminded me that I should call or visit my own mother more often.

I’m so grateful she was such a vital part of The Studio, helping make it what it was.
